Entrepreneurs get social at StartUp Grind Global Conference

StartUp Grind Global Conference 2017At Crisp we like to meet new people and hear new stories, so last week some of our team attended StartUp Grind Global Conference 2017 in Redwood City, California.

Startup Grind is a global community designed to educate, inspire, and connect entrepreneurs in 90 countries. The conference was great testament to that, with innovative features such as this suitcase robot.

The two-day event was sponsored by the likes of Google, Comcast and Red Bull, and attended by like-minded entrepreneurs and founders who were sharing advice and lessons-learned. Speakers from KISSmetrics, Tinder and Giphy sparked discussions on company culture, mental health, marketing channels and building early adopter communities. There were also lively talks about what it's like to get backing from a venture capital firm, and how not to spend the money!

Social media marketing, social communities and social commerce were all hot topics and the Crisp team felt at home chatting with entrepreneurs about the role of moderation and risk analysis in protecting early adopter communities and growing brand reputation.
